There is a growing demand worldwide for academic continuing education for oncologists. In addition to extensive clinical skills in various areas of oncology, aspects of personalized and patient-centered medicine, expertise in conducting clinical trials and the professional management of oncological facilities is also asked for. Oncological science and research has a long and ongoing tradition at the University Ulm and the Ulm University Hospital. The successful medical continuning education program Advanced Oncology has developed from this. Since more than 10 years Advanced Oncology is dedicated to increasing the knowledge of health professionals, physicians and scientists in all fields of cancer treatment.
